How much film do I have? Movie Transfer

Everyone always wonders what kind of film do they have and how much is there?

Often we find film in our parents attic or in a drawer somewhere and we are not quite sure what to do with it. You will notice that there are several types of movie film. The smaller ones are usually in little yellow boxes and the larger ones are often in metal containers.

All of these can be converted to DVD. We digitize each frame individually to give you the highest quality of movies that we can. Once converted to DVD then those previous memories can be shared with many family members, by making copies of the DVD's. All of those wonderful memories can be viewed again, and again.

Many of us know all too well the devastating affects of natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods or fire. Often times people’s homes are destroyed and individual belongings are lost forever.

Don’t wait for tragedy to happen to you and it’s too late to save your personal possessions. But are your effects in order? Are your photos labeled and categorized? What about other one-of-a-kind items? Take steps today before calamity strikes.

Let Home Video Studio’s Savers of the Family Archives safeguard and organize your family’s photos, videos, films, mementos, and individual legal documents. Home Video Studio - Fort Collins can copy these items for you onto more disaster-proof DVDs.

“Think of it like purchasing insurance, but the difference is that no amount of money will be able to make up for the permanent loss of these items,” says Dick Burkhartzmeyer, owner of Home Video Studio - Fort Collins. HVS is the United States’ leading video production services franchise with studios located across America, two in Canada and one in Sweden.

Don’t forget your digital photos. Thousands of images of family photos are no longer in albums on your bookshelf. Instead they are located on the hard drives of your home computers or laptops. But what if something happened to your computer; like the hard drive crashed or your laptop got stolen? How could you replace those lost memories?

As part of the Savers of the Family Archives service, Home Video Studio - Fort Collins can also download all of your digital photo memory sticks onto your computer’s hard drive and then copy your photo files onto a DVD for you. In addition, they can make hard copies of all your digital photos, so you’ll have two ways to preserve your family’s history for generations to come.

Call Home Video Studio - Fort Collins, today, to get a Savers of the Family Archives organizational checklist to help you get your personal effects in order to be copied. Your personal records inventory may include items like birth certificates, social security cards, marriage licenses, property titles, insurance policies and other important papers.

“Once everything is copied on DVDs, these digital records can be preserved indefinitely and they are also simple to update,” adds Dick Burkhartzmeyer, owner. “ The value of preserving your irreplaceable keepsakes is priceless.”

Scholarship Videos

In today’s age of video technology, many people have access to video camcorders. Parents, especially, videotape their child participating in various sporting events. They may have hundreds of hours of videos, but most likely, very few organize and archive them.

Transferring video to DVD is a specialty of Home Video Studio. We are the world’s leading video production services franchise with studios located in the United States, Canada and Sweden, including one here in Indianapolis.

Home Video Studio – Fort Collins can help preserve a student’s athletic achievements. We can transfer your video (VHS, VHS-C, Beta, 8 mm video, and mini DV formats) to a more long lasting DVD.

You may also want to create a sports highlights video of a particular sport, player, or season. These photo video montage keepsakes can feature music, titles and scene selections, just like you see with a Hollywood DVD movie! Highlight videos make great gifts for players and coaches. They also add a special touch for sports award ceremonies.

In addition, be sure to give your student athlete a competitive edge. With so many high school athletes vying for scholarships, it is critical that every athlete does everything he or she can to market themselves and maximize their visibility and talents to college coaches.

Home Video Studio - Fort Collins produces sports scholarship videos too. These high-quality videos profile an athlete’s accomplishments both on and off the playing field. We will showcase the individual student’s best sports highlights and athletic abilities.

A sports scholarship video will not necessarily get a young athlete a scholarship, but in today’s competitive environment, it is a necessary tool to start the recruiting process. We have produced numerous videos that have resulted in full-ride and partial college scholarships for area student athletes involved in all competitive sports.
